GBA assists water companies, governments and investors to successfully cope with economic and regulatory issues related to the water and sanitation industry. We act as economic advisers in restructuring and privatization, or buying and selling of assets, both on the buyer and seller sides. We study or participate in the design of concession contracts and model their financial and tariff implications. We also support companies in defending their positions in rate setting processes vis a vis the relevant regulatory authorities. We offer expert testimony in commercial litigation and act as arbitrators in disputes that arise in the development of regulations or the application of concession or operation. We support companies and business associations in presenting and defending their positions in the legislative discussion of laws and regulations.
